Tee Time Bookings
The Golf Course continues to mature and coming into summer it is in fantastic condition.. The next few week will be a busy time for the course so if you are coming down for a game please book beforehand to avoid disappointment.
The Facility will be only be closed on Christmas day but will shut at 6pm on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
You can book a Tee Time via our website. Note: Bookings via the web can only be for tee times outside of 24 hours.

Exciting Times
I am happy to say that Turnpoint have now been awarded the maintenance contract for the Ridge sporting complex for the next 3 years. This allows us to invest some quality efforts into a long term future.
We will be increasing our staff levels as well as purchasing some new mowing equipment for increased presentation. The complex will see improvements made to the sports fields and landscape areas which will have a huge impact on overall presentation.
The golf course seems to be holding in well considering the humid and wet conditions we have had as of late. In saying this we will have no concerns about water levels to our dam. Greens have come a long way in the last 6 months with them now seeming to find their feet with maturity. Landscape is still slow however a extensive planting program is in place for the winter months. From looking back at photos from last year fairway coverage has come a long way. Increased fertility this summer will assist in making sure we complete full coverage.
I ask all cart drivers to please stay a safe distance from all greens and stay behind the blue lines at all times. This will only help with compaction and wear.

SOCIAL CLUB BOOKINGS FOR 2012.
Thanks again for all the clubs who have forwarded on Social Club Requests for 2012.
I will try to finalise bookings and notify everyone by mid January. We have times available both Saturday and Sunday mornings so if you would like to try the Ridge please email me on gary@theridgegolf.com.au.
Unfortunately I cannot give a deadline for the second nine in regards to bookings but we do envisage completion of the complex by 2012. |

End Of Year Junior Christmas Party
On what was our final session for the year we had over 150 juniors turn out for our SSGA Junior Golf Christmas party.
The Juniors were treated to a 9 holes ambrose event with juniors from all of our junior programs joining together to form a 4 person team. Once they had completed there 9 holes they all enjoyed a sausage sizzle and a cooling drink as the best dressed and winning teams were announced . The best dressed junior awards went to l to r E J Papadimitiou, Josh Parsons, Cassiidy Graham, Bailey Richardson, Mariella Bunton, Liam Hagarty, Stephanie Faulkner, Aurelia Fox, Riley Hunt and Matilda Fox.
The best score in the ambrose event went to Dimi Dimitrovski, Dylan Tully and Luke O'Grady.
And finally the player of the Year awards were given out to each different program. In what is a very hard decision to make, the juniors that won showed a lot of improvement and dedication to their golf. Below are the winners from each program. |

Country Juniors are invited to join Two of Australia's leading Junior Golf Coaches Glenn Whittle and Kurt Stegbauer (2009 & 2008 NSW/ACT PGA Teacher of the Year's) for a totally unique golfing experience.

Short Game Golf Schools

This will fast become Australia’s premier short game program.
