Hole 1: PAR 4

Championship: 337m - Men's - 316m - Ladies: 297m

The first hole is a great starting hole, it provides the golfer with a relatively short par 4 and a very generous fairway, a bunker is 200 meters off the tee on the right hand side for the stray tee shot, big hitters can certainly hit the green however will need to be on target. The approach to the green needs to be accurate as the front of the green slopes away from the golfer while also hitting long over the green leaves an enormous challenge to get up and down. Golfers playing to their handicap on this hole will be happy.

Hole 2: PAR 4

Championship: 335m - Men's - 322m - Ladies: 285m

Another short par 4 to ease into the golf course, tee shots need to stay down the left hand side as the ball rolls into the center of the fairway, the approach shot will need to be accurate as water surrounds most of the green, a big green ensures a large variety of pin positions.

Hole 3: PAR 4

The shortest of all the par 4's on the course, long hitters have the opportunity to have a go, where those that can't reach the green need to place their tee shot in a good position. From the fairway the second shot is semi blind as you can only see the top of the pin, the front of the green slopes away from the golfer with many slopes and undulations making this green a hard 2 putt from certain locations.

Hole 4: PAR 4

A great golf hole, From the tee golfers are hitting blind to a sunken fairway, a fairway bunker sits 220meters from the tee on the right side, native bushland runs along the left hand side and behind the green which provides a picturesque back drop.  The  approach to this slopey green  should see the golfer  sometimes  play for the center of the green to avoid the green side bunkers which are either side of the green. Golfers having played this hole once will certainly have a better understanding of how to play the hole the hole a second time.

Hole 5: PAR 3

The first par 3 on the course can play very different depending upon the wind conditions. The hole plays up hill which requires a club and half more than what you think, most golfers finish short on this hole which leaves a difficult chip shot to once again a very slopy green. Golfers should note that the back of the green has a large slope which will allow golf balls to roll back onto the green if their shot is to long. Into a southerly keep the ball low.

Hole 6: PAR 5

The first of  two Par 5's on the course, the tee shot plays slightly up hill with the golfer wanting to hit the right hand side of the fairway, a fairway bunker situated on the left hand side needs to be avoided,  30 feet left of the fairway bunker is out of bounds, the real long hitters have the opportunity to get home for 2 while those that can't need to avoid two bunkers that are located either side of the fairway 100 meters out. A large generous green sloping from right to left will welcome a good approach shot.

Hole 7: PAR 4

The hardest hole on the course at 395 metres for the men requires 2 well struck shots to get home. From the tee golfers tend to hit to the right as  a fairway bunker is situated on the left hand side, a tee shot hugging the bunker certainly makes the hole play shorter, most golfers hit their tee shot to the right side of the fairway which leaves a longer shot to the green which is over 30 metres in length. A pin position back right requires the hands of a surgeon to get it close. Playing to your handicap here is an awesome score.

Hole 8: PAR 3

This par 3 will eventually be hole 17 on the course and will be a par 4, at only 105 metres it appears easy, however an accurate tee shot is required as a hollow is situated at the front of the green. Playing slightly up hill to a well bunkered green a birdie is possible.

Hole 9: PAR 5

A slight dog leg to the fairway with a big bunker needing to be avoided on the right hand side. Big hitters can get home in two shots, golfers who can't get home in two shots need to try and place their ball on the right hand side of the fairway for their approach shot in as this will open up the green. The green sits  like a table top above the fairway which makes it that little more challenging, a greens side bunker front left will trap anyone trying to attack a pin on the left hand side. Once on the green it gently slopes back to front.
