Coaching - Short Game Golf Schools

A proficient short game is the fastest way to reduce your handicap.

It all started with a mutual respect for each other’s short games, since then they have been connected through coaching circles in Sydney and now after many discussions Glenn Whittle and Kurt Stegbauer have announced that they have officially joined forces and are about to stage their first ever Whittle-Stegbauer Short Game School. Knowing how much passion we have for teaching the short game we believe these schools will fast become Australia’s premier short game school, and this is our goal.

Most club golfers stand on the range hours for hours on end working on fixing their slice or hook, when what they really need is a better understanding of how and when to play different shots around the green, with particular attention on putting. It has been well publicized in many golf magazines over the past ten years that nearly 70 percent of all golf shots are played within 100 metres of the green, so it should go without saying that if you want to lower your golf scores it's imperative for you to be effective in this area of the game. Glenn and Kurt will ensure you learn practical skills on and around the green that will shave shots off your handicap immediately

“We want to ensure that each and every client that attends one of our short game schools has an experience that they will never forget, and in particular that their golf scores are reflective of this. The Short Game Schools are a full day program that cover all aspects of your short game. We begin by assessing what you need to accomplish in putting, a variety of chip shots, bunker shots, and lob shots. Then Glenn and Kurt teach you how to take your short game to another level, you will leave with an individual development plan and practice program.
