Tiger Cubs

1. BEFORE TEEING OFF

  • Ensure you have a pitch marker, tees, and a ball marker in your pocket.
  • Place a sand bucket on your buggy.
  • Check the local rules board before teeing off.
  • Identify your ball make and number to be sure which ball is yours, place your own marking on the ball if you like.
  • Have a slight stretch to improve performance.

2. ON THE TEE

  • On the teeing ground you need to tee the ball in between the tee markers, also you can move 2 club lengths back from the tee markers to tee up your ball.
  • Use a tee always on the tee off area.

3 .ON THE FAIRWAY

  • Once you have all teed off, walk quickly up the fairway without walking in front of each other. Never position yourself in front of your playing partners who are hitting.
  • While walking to your ball, look at other holes you still have to play and check the pin placements on holes to see if they are at the front or back of the green.
  • On the fairway position your buggy next to your ball so it isn't in your way.
  • When repairing a divot fill the divot to the same level of the fairway.
  • Check distance markers to the green to determine how far you are from the green.
  • If you playing a ball up a hill take a club extra, if you are playing a ball down hill take a club less.

4.  ON THE GREEN

  • When your balls are on the green position your buggy on the same side of our next hole.
  • If you make a lob mark on the green, repair with a pitch repairer.
  • If you have to mark your ball, place the ball marker behind your ball.
  • When on the green avoid walking on other players in your group line of putt.
  • If you putt out first pick up the flag stick and be ready to place it in the hole when everyone in your group has finished putting out.

5. GENERAL POINTS

  • If your ball looks like it may hit another player yell out “FOUR”, If you hear “FOUR” get down behind your golf buggy.
  • When playing watch very carefully where your ball goes, also watch other players in your group to see where their ball goes, so you can help them find it if they hit a bad shot.

6. FINISHING YOUR ROUND

  • When you have finished playing shake your playing partners hand and thank them for the game.
  • Mark score cards and sign in the correct areas.
